Ethel Walters Dies At Age 92

Mrs. Ethel Walters, 92, of the Prairie City Nursing Center, formerly of Ipava, died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 2, 1985, at the Center.

She was born Jan. 15, 1893, in Bernadotte Township, near Ipava, a daughter of Leroy and Nancy Bohannon Clanin. She married Fred Walters April 26, 1916. He died Jan. 14, 1959.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Maurine Fayhee of Prairie City, three nephews and two nieces.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, a sister and a brother.

She was a member of the Ipava United Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. A. R. Juterbock officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Prairie City Nursing Center.
