Mrs. Wilma Ervin, 56, of 225 Haffner Blvd., Canton, died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, 1975, at Graham Hospital, where she had been a patient several weeks.
She was born Aug. 21, 1919, in Summum, a daughter of Ross and Stella White Hulvey. She married Robert Long on March 30, 1941. He died February 9, 1965. She married James R. Ervin on Dec. 27, 1973, in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother Mrs. Stella Hulvey of Table Grove; two sons, Ernest Long of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and David Long of Fort Madison, Iowa; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Nancy Jean Jacobs of Covington, La., and Miss Teresa Lynn Ervin of New Orleans, La.; one grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Hamilton and Mrs. Julia Goodwin, both of Evansville, Ind., Mrs. Helen Bubb of Ipava, and Mrs. Dorothy Weaver of Table Grove; five brothers, Marshall Hulvey of Matteson, Ross Hulvey Jr. of Springfield, Dean Hulvey of Mt. Sterling, Michael Hulvey of Morton and Robert Hulvey of Canton.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Oaks Memorial Chapel in Canton with Rev. S. J. Curry officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
