She was born May 7, 1940, in Bluff City, a daughter of John and Esther Baum Dutton. She married Jimmie Lee Weaver on Sept. 1, 1961, in Lewistown. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, J.D. (and Sherilyn) Weaver and John (and Megan) Weaver, all of Havana; two sisters, Norma Williams and Pam Burgett; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a 1958 graduate of Rushville High School. She worked for the State of Illinois in Springfield until the birth of her first child.
A funeral service was held Friday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial was at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, alongside her husband.
Memorials may be made in Dorothy’s name to the American Cancer Society.
