Charles E. Waters Dies In Arizona

Charles E. Waters, 70, of North Aurora, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1985, at his winter home in Tucson, Ariz.

He was born March 19, 1915, in Browning.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; one son, Paul Waters of Aurora; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Francis (Lavina) Walton of Browning.

He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Dale.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, North Aurora; member of Batavia Moose Lodge No. 682; member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Local No. 645. He had been employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad, Chicago Division for 33 years prior to his retirement. He was a former part-time policeman in North Aurora and a Boy Scout Leader in North Aurora.

Funeral services were held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at the Yurs Peterson Funeral Home, Batavia, with Rev. Richard Bailey officiating. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
