VeteranCharles Wyant Of Bath Dies

Charles H. Wyant, 68, of Bath died at 6:13 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1985, at Mason District Hospital, Havana.

Born March 20, 1917, to Henry O. and Emma J. (Barnes) Wyant, he married Edith Clinton.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Kevin Wyant of Maquon and Charles Barclay of Vermont; a stepson, Keith Fink of Keokuk, Iowa; six grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Martin, Thelma Jennings, both of Lewistown, Lola Barnes of Winter Haven, Fla., and Cora Parks of Farmington; and four brothers, Ernest and Bernard Wyant of Canton, John of Ellisville, and Jesse of Elmwood. One brother preceded him in death.

A retired employee of the Dana Corporation of Havana, he was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Havana Post 6408, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Burial was in Bath Cemetery.
