VeteranD. B. Wilson Of Lewistown Dies

D. B. Wilson, 74, of Lewistown, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 10, 1985, at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Danville.

He was born Sept. 25, 1910, in Segoville, Texas, the son of Bedford and Kathryn (Crause) Wilson. He married Catherine L. Wilson, Nov. 11, 1948, in Havana. She died Dec. 3, 1982.

Survivors include one son, Donald Wilson of Lawnview; two stepsons, Larry White of Vermont and Don White of Garden Grove, Calif.; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Joanne Gallinger of Peoria, Mrs. Pat Johnson of Canton, Mrs. Karen Green of Williamsfield and Mrs. Sandy Fogliani of Lewistown; one grandson; 14 step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers.

He was a shovel operator at the Morgan Mine in Fulton County many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of the Lewistown VFW Post, the Masonic Lodge and the United Mine Workers Association.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Maurice Gritton officiating. Burial was in the Cuba Cemetery.
