Glenn E. Weaver Dies At Age 80

Glenn E. Weaver, 80, of rural Colchester, died Thursday, Mar. 28, 1985, in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born Oct. 28, 1904, in Marietta, a son of Grant and Molana Yocum Weaver. He first married Marie G. Helle June 2, 1926. She died May 20, 1957. He later married Lucille Stolp Oct. 23, 1959. She survives.

Also surviving are three children, Maurice and Brenda Weaver, both of Colchester and Gaylord of Macomb; two stepdaughters, Mabel Barlow of Quincy and Janet Sprinkle of LaPrairie; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two brothers, Clifford “Kip” Weaver of Table Grove and Russell of Pekin; one sister, Pearl Alexander of Bushnell.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett, Virgil and Earl, and a sister, Stella Weaver.

He had resided in Smithfield, Lewistown and Walnut Grove. He was a resident and farmer in the Colchester area for 47 years.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. David Carnine officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
