On Thursday evening, October 24, 1918, Pattison Weese, a long-time resident of Fulton county, died suddenly at his home on his farm in Summum country. He had not been very well but was at work every day, and death claimed him very suddenly and unexpectedly. He and his wife were residents of Ipava for several years and then moved back to their farm a year or so ago. He had been a member of the Free Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, one daughter — Mrs. Isabelle Brown, of Lewistown — a number of grandchildren, and other relatives. The funeral service was held at the home, and the body was interred in a cemetery at Summum.
