Mrs. Wanda L. Vance, 50, of Lewistown, died at 12:20 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 1975, at Graham Hospital in Canton after a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 7, 1924, in Ipava, a daughter of Ralph E. and Mable Myers Herriford. She married Roy Vance on Oct. 3, 1948, in Canton. He died Nov. 7, 1973.
Surviving are a son, Terry Vance of Lewistown; a daughter, Mrs. Teresa Prosser, also of Lewistown; her mother, Mrs. Ralph Herriford of Ipava; two brothers, Lewis Herriford of Ipava and Clifford Herriford of Chillicothe; and three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Beaty of Canton, Mrs. Dortha Ogden and Mrs. Clara Rhodes, both of Lewistown. Her father, a son and a brother died earlier.
Mrs. Vance was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church and the Lewistown Senior Woman’s Club.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Leo Brown officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
