IPAVA — Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Van Order, 73, died Sunday at the home of her son Fred Van Order near Macomb. She was born in Schuyler county, May 20, 1882, daughter of Andrew and Nancy Jane Johnson. She was married March 31, 1900 to Fred Van Order who survives.
They lived near Ipava on a farm before moving to Macomb in 1949. Mrs. Van Order was a member of the Vermont Methodist church.
Surviving are her husband, three sons and a daughter, Walter of Ipava, Lester of Paso Robles, Calif., Fred of Macomb and Mrs. Walter Clauson of Peoria. Three sisters, a brother, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Macomb.
