George W. Utter, 94, of Rushville, died at 9:10 p.m. Friday, May 31, 1985, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 2, 1891, in Frederick Township, a son of Frank and Clara Bradman Utter. He married Stella Orr on Feb. 9, 1916 in Rushville. She died on Nov. 2, 1972.
Surviving are one son, Frank Utter of Browning; one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Ogden of Rushville; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Arthur and Harlen; one infant daughter, Margaret Louise; five brothers and two sisters.
He was a member of the Schuyler County Farm Bureau. He was a lifelong farmer, retiring in 1966.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Paul Sellers officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
