Mrs. Dorothy Thomas, 99, of Table Grove, formerly of Peoria, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Apr. 9, 1985, at her home on South Street.
She had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Nicholas (Mary) Bruketta, in Table Grove the past 17 years.
She was born Apr. 7, 1886, in Fumie, Yugoslavia, a daughter of Steve and Antonia Starcevich Budislich. She married Joseph Thomas in February 1908 in Centerville, Iowa. He died May 15, 1965, in Peoria.
One son, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters also preceded her.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by six sons, Peter, Stephen, Tony and Lewis Thomas, all of Peoria, Andrew Thomas of Morton, Joseph Thomas Jr. of Pekin; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Rose Miller of Peoria.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Davison-Fulton Western Chapel in Peoria with Rev. Richard Horvath officiating. Burial was in Springdale Cemetery.
