Mrs. Lida Todd, 89, former Astoria resident, died Thursday morning in Memorial Hospital in Glendale, Calif. She had been an Astoria resident for many years prior to moving to California in 1952.
Mrs. Todd was born Feb. 20, 1876 at Sheldons Grove.
She was married to Jacob M. Todd. He died in 1942.
Mrs. Todd was a member of the Astoria Methodist Church and a 50-year member of Astoria Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois.
Surviving are one son, James Todd of Salt Lake City, Utah and two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bremer of Earp, Calif., and Mrs. Alice Twedt of Glendale, Calif.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon in the Astoria Methodist Church with Rev. Fines Main officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
