He was born Feb. 5, 1951, in Canton, a son of William and Violet Saville.
Surviving are one brother, Bill (and Bonnie) Saville of Tennessee; two sisters, Violet Heller and Diana (and David) Punke, both of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews, and the Hollenback family.
He was preceded in death by one nephew, Jeremy Saville; and one brother-in-law, Steve Heller.
He farmed cattle with his family and also worked at Hollenback Construction.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Harris Cemetery in Table Grove with Mike Ulmer officiating. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life and meal will be held at 2 p.m. at the Vermont American Legion.
