She was born Oct. 10, 1953, in Canton, the daughter of Donald E. and Oretta C. Davis Tippey. She married Jeff Shumaker on March 21, 1970, at their family farm in rural Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are two children, Jarod (and Christi) Shumaker of Berwyn and Jill (and Jason) Huber of Bloomington; two brothers, Barry (and Barbara) Tippey of Lexington, Ky., and Chris Tippey of Pekin; and four grandchildren, Callista, Gus, Reese and Nora.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She worked at the Mid America National Bank for over 40 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lewistown and the Fulton County Farm Bureau.
Her funeral will be held at noon Friday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the memorial home.
