Gaylene StufflebeamV. Gaylene (Ring) Stufflebeam, 67, of Farmington died at 8:45 a.m. May 1, 2024, at The Loft Rehab and Nursing of Canton.

She was born Aug. 26, 1956, in Canton, a daughter of Virginia Bohanan Custer. She married Alan W. Stufflebeam on Oct. 19, 1974, in rural Lewistown. He survives.

Also surviving are one sister, Georgia Custer; and four grandchildren, Brennan Potter of Farmington and Ella, Scarlett and Easton Potter of Bethesda, Md.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and one daughter, Angela Marie Potter.

She had many jobs throughout her life. She worked at County Line Veterinarian Clinic as a veterinarian assistant. She worked at Kmart, she was a Activity Director at Farmington Nursing Home, and she was a bank teller at two banks, and she helped arrange flowers in Farmington.

Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton. Rev. Kathy Barrett will be officiating the Celebration of Life service, which will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, starting with a visitation at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church followed by the Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be held at Mt. Pleasant Church in rural Lewistown, four miles east of Lewistown on Rte. 24. A funeral dinner will be served by the women of the church.

Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. If you want to leave a donation to the family to help pay for the funeral expenses, checks may be left at CEFCU, 175 E. Elm St., Canton, or at the services.
