She was a daughter of James and Nora Easley Abernathy. She married Ronald Servis. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by twin sister, Julia Cleavinger.
Surviving are siblings: Betty, Bud (James), Mary Lou and David Abernathy; five grandchildren; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She grew up in Vermont, attending VIT High School and graduating in 1967. After attending cosmetology school, she later moved to Colorado. She thrived in many endeavors including real estate, apartment management, home repair and renovation and as many divisions in the county clerk offices. After retiring from the county, she continued her love of the law and public service with Ron in his law office on probate cases where she was an active member of the Colorado legal community.
She volunteered in her church and the community.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Lord of the Valley Lutheran Church of Granby, Colo.
The funeral service was held May 2 at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, in Lakewood, Colo. Burial was in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo.
