Howard Springs Of Vermont DiesHoward Springs Of Vermont DiesHoward D. Springs, 63, of Vermont, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1985, at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
He was born Oct. 14, 1921, in Astoria, the son of Daniel and Gay (Brown) Springs. He married Patsy Umphryes Aug. 21, 1958, in Rushville. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Peter Springs of Vermont; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Foutch of Havana.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
He worked as a press operator at King-Seeley Thermos in Macomb and was a veteran of World War II.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kost Memorial Home with Layton Malone officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
