Mrs. Faye Sill Of Astoria Dies

Mrs. Faye E. Sill, 80, of Astoria, died at 5:05 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 1985, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.

She was born Aug. 15, 1905, in Lewistown, a daughter of Charles B. and Blanche Cozine Purman. She was married to Ralph Sill on July 17, 1926, in Pontiac. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1971.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Dwight (Mildred) Bucy; one niece, Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Schisler; and two grand nephews, Rick and Rodney Schisler, all of Astoria.

She was a member of the Astoria United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, a member and Past Matron of Astoria Chapter No. 144 Order of Eastern Star and the Astoria Sorosis Club.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Astoria United Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce W. Bolin-Ghitalla officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown.

Eastern Star services were held at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Loretta Fisk, worthy matron; George Fisk, worthy patron; Audria Barrett, chaplain; Madelyn Skiles, Adah; Betty Vaughn, Ruth; Kay Dutton, Esther; Mary Hamm, Martha; Mary E. Fisk, Electa.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Astoria.
