Mrs. Ada B. Stambaugh, 77, of rural Vermont, died at 7:29 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 1985, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Aug. 18, 1907, at Browning, a daughter of Ray and Anna Schisler Leek. She married Lloyd Stambaugh on Sept. 26, 1927, at Jacksonville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1981.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Stambaugh of Browning; two daughters, Mrs. Adra Burnett of Vermont and Mrs. Edna Derry of Astoria; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Veda Morton of Decatur; and one brother, Albert Rockwell of Beardstown.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stambaugh was a member of the Bader Christian Church.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bader Cemetery with Laurence Royer officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.
