Wanda Sadler Of Macomb Dies

Mrs. Wanda Hopping Sadler, 68, of 330 N. Bonham, Macomb, formerly of Vermont, died at 11 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 30, 1985, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born July 11, 1916, in Vermont, a daughter of Harvey and Carrie Derry Schisler. She married Benny Hopping Dec. 24, 1932, in Macomb. He died Aug. 31, 1974. She then married Dallas Sadler Oct. 29, 1979, in Macomb. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Robert Hopping of Bloomington, Phillip Hopping of St. Louis, Mo., and Stanley Hopping of Macomb; one daughter, Mrs. Janice Sullivan of Macomb; three stepsons, Donny Sadler of California, David and Michael Sadler, both of Macomb; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester Schisler of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Richard Schisler of Montclair, N.J.

She was a cook in the Industry school system, a nursing home aide, and was employed at the Macomb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of the Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Vermont United Methodist Church with Rev. John Derry and Rev. Tom Wilber officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
