Mrs. Alice Simpson, 95, of Rushville, died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 14, 1985, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Feb. 15, 1890, in Ray, the daughter of Alonzo and Ruey Beghtol Robinson. She married Seth Billingsly on Jan. 23, 1910. After his death she married Newton W. Simpson in Lewistown on Jan. 13, 1920. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1962.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Zelda Price of Bath, Mrs. Doris Dean of Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Hazel Becraft of Roseville and Mrs. Ruey Strubinger of Ridge Farm; four sons, Woodrow Billingsly of Seattle, Wash., Wayland Billingsly of Appleton, Wis., Max Simpson of Lewistown and Romeo Simpson of Rushville; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great, great-grandchildren.
One daughter, three brothers and two sisters died earlier.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Rushville with Rev. Paul Sellers officiating. Burial was in Rushville Cemetery.
