Gladys G. Shephard, 86, of Monmouth, died Friday, Feb. 8, 1985, in Monmouth Community Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 4, 1898, in Ipava, a daughter of Charles B. and Mary Mae Hart Gilson. She married Creston E. Shephard June 9, 1926, at Princeton. He died in July of 1953.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Louise Walker of Chicago and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Dennis Daum officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
