Mrs. Mary Scheer, 96, a former Vermont resident, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 30, 1975, at the Snyder Nursing Home in Rushville.
She was born Sept. 11, 1879, in Wabasha, Minn., the daughter of Joseph and Mary Markadont Miegg. She married Emil Schively who preceded her in death on March 25, 1942. She married George Scheer who died May 16, 1957.
Mrs. Scheer was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Winona, Minn.
Surviving are two sons, Fred and John Schively, both of Wabasha, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Darling of Vermont; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services and burial was held Friday in Winona, Miss.
