Miss Nancy Lynn Stauffer, 30, of Goleta, Calif., died in California on Thursday, June 26, 1975.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1944, in Rushville, a daughter of Byron and Dorothy Venters Stauffer.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Stauffer of Carlinville; two brothers, Robert Stauffer of Rushville and Jim Stauffer of Euless, Texas; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lanta Stauffer of Carlinville, formerly of near Bader.
She attended Carlinville schools and graduated from Carlinville High School in 1962. Following graduation she went to Las Vegas, Nev., where she was employed by an engineering firm for 10 years. She later moved to Goleta and was employed in the office of the district attorney for Santa Barbara County.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday morning, July 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery south of Carlinville with Rev. John Kakac, pastor of the Memorial Christian Church officiating.
