Mrs. Danny (Jo Ann) Shanks, 24, of 147 W. Bluff, East Peoria, died at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 1975, at her home.
Death was due to natural causes, according to Tazewell County Coroner Louis Imig.
Mrs. Shanks was employed by Collection Specialists for the last 5½ years, last working Friday.
She was born in Peoria Aug. 8, 1950, a daughter of Joseph A. and Geraldine Gullett Gerhardt. She married Mr. Shanks in East Peoria Sept. 13, 1969.
Surviving are her husband; her parents of East Peoria; one son, Eric Michael, at home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gullett of Peoria and Mrs. Bethel Hubbard of Galconda.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Randall (Janice) Ragle of Astoria and Mrs. Steven (Carol) Jones of Washington.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at LeRoy Schmidt Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Rupp officiating. Burial was in Fon du Lac Cemetery.
