Former Ipava Man Dies In California

William Perry Seward, 81, former Ipava resident, died Monday at his home near Los Angeles, Calif. He had resided in California the past two years. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Shawgo Memorial Home at Ipava, and burial will be in Ipava Cemetery.

Mr. Seward was born May 23, 1884 near Ipava to Myron and Martha Barnes Seward. He married Edna Nelson, who died on March 16, 1943. Surviving are a son, Frank Seward of Canoga Park, Calif.; and a brother, Elmer Seward of Ipava. Two sisters are deceased.

Visitation will be Thursday night from 7-9 at the funeral home.
