Two rural grade school pupils of LaHarpe were fatally injured when the school car-bus in which they were riding was struck broadside by a car driven by a senior in LaHarpe high school Tuesday afternoon last week at 3:50 p.m.
Larry Linke, 6, and Toni Siegrist, 12, and Dwight Sellers, 57, driver of the school bus, died of injuries received.
Four other grade school pupils in the car and the driver was injured, including Jerry Link, 9, brother of the boy who died; David Link, 13, a cousin; Carole Fark, 8, and Robert Mortelyou, 13, all of whom live in the LaHarpe rural area.
Sellers was driving the car-school bus north on the Fountain Green blacktop and was crossing route 9 when the war was struck broadside by the car driven by Rodeffer who was driving west. Rodeffer was also injured.
