Mrs. Fannie Swank, 70, died Saturday morning in the Carl Clinic in Urbana, following a one month illness.
Born Aug. 16, 1884, a daughter of William Penn and Matilda Jane (David) McCarty, she was married to William Swank who died in 1946.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Irma Louise Brielmaier of St. Louis, Mo., and a brother, Frank McCarty of Vermont. A sister, Mrs. Lillian Ellison preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Ipava Presbyterian church, conducted by Revs. E. E. Catlin and Edgar Mills. Burial in Ipava cemetery.
