She was born April 2, 1941, the daughter of the late James and Freida Shores Rohn. She married Roger Reed on Dec. 28, 1961, in McLeansboro. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Tonya (and Donald) Arnold of Rushville and Monica Wren of St. Peters, Mo.; one granddaughter, Kely Markley of St. Peters, Mo.; one grandson, Reed Wren of St. Peters, Mo.; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick (and Barbara) Rohn and Maurice Rohn.
She graduated from Rushville High School class of 1959 and later became a rural mail carrier until retirement in 1995. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Audubon Society.
Cremation has been accorded. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
