Mrs. Dorothy Rimington Ransom, 70, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Ipava, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 1985, in Phoenix.
She was a daughter of John and Emily Tuffs Rimington. She married Floyd Ransom, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, James, of Phoenix; four sisters, Elaine Bulmer of Phoenix, Emma Johnson, Mary Northcutt and Annice Rimington, all of Peoria; and three brothers, Edwin of Ipava, Robert of Freeport and Fred of Lena.
Cremation rites were accorded. Memorial services were held Tuesday in Phoenix at the Christian Assembly Church, of which she was a member.
She was a 1932 graduate of Ipava High School.
