Mrs. Gertrude E. Rhoades, 71, of 1010 Wheeler, Macomb, died at 3:02 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 1975, in McDonough District Hospital in that city.
She was born in Rushville on March 15, 1903, a daughter of George and Clara Hull Noble Hollenback. She married George Rhoades in Lewistown in 1931. He died Jan. 12, 1975.
Surviving are three sons, Ronald Rhoades and Billy Reinert, both of Macomb, and Edwin Smith of Glendale, Calif.; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mable Bateman of Canton, Mrs. Freda Miller of Table Grove and Mrs. Beneita Shepard of Macomb; and two brothers, Homer and Francis Hollenback of Table Grove.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Jack Hollenback of Moline officiating. Burial was in the Harris Cemetery near Table Grove.
