He was born Feb. 17, 1963, in Carthage, the son of Donald and Zelma Avery Pippenger. He married Cindy A. Norris on Oct. 2, 1991. She preceded him in death.
He also was preceded in death by one grandson, Dillon.
Surviving are three children, Raini Ray and Jeff of Table Grove, Joshua Derry of Camden and Dalton Pippenger of Macomb; and six grandchildren, Patricia, Zelda, Lance, Jimmy, Hunter and Nicholas.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Vicki Hull officiating. Inurnment will be held in Black Oak Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of services on Thursday.
