He was born March 11, 1965, in Havana, a son of William Lee and Dorothy Trone Plate.
Surviving are one sister, Kimberly (and Pete) Ford of Lewistown; one brother, Kevin (and Shannee) Plate of Macomb; two nephews, Tyler (and Libby) Plate and Thomas (and Shannon) Plate; two nieces, Kylie (and Billy) Clark and Whitney Sullivan; and three great-nieces and nephews, Tucker Plate, Claire Plate and Addison Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He retired as a carpenter, belonging to Local Union 237.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.
