Ed F. Prather, 58, of Astoria died in the early morning hours of July 6, 2024. He passed away at home in the care of his family. He was a son of Kenneth and Lois Prather.Ed F. Surviving are one brother, Russell (and Glenna) of Astoria; three daughters, Rachel of Long Beach, Miss., Rebecca of Gadsden, Ala., and Samantha of St. Pete, Fla.; and three nephews, Dana, Derek and Matthew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Keith Prather.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be in the Astoria Cemetery.
