Kathryn D. “Kay” Pittman, 60, of Taylorville, died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 1985, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Survivors include her husband, David W. Pittman; one son, David W. Pittman II, of Des Moines, Ia.; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Chriss) Altis of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Loren (Gladys) Boesdorfer of Auburn and Mrs. Edna Zuhlke of Petersburg; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylorville with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was held Tuesday evening, Jan. 29, at Connolly Funeral Home in Taylorville. Attending from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Riebling and Lela Stelter, returning home in a severe snowstorm.
