Lloyd Pollitt, 57, of Lewistown, a Liverpool Township farmer, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning in Graham Hospital, Canton, a few minutes after being admitted.
Mr. Pollitt was born Dec. 11, 1907, a son of Benjamin and Nellie Johnson Pollitt. He was married to Lucille Sleeth on Jan. 16, 1930.
He is survived by his widow; one son, Roderick of Lewistown; three brothers, James and Guy, both of Lewistown, and Wayne of Astoria; eight sisters, Mrs. Faye Hughes, Mrs. Ruth Berry and Mrs. Leona Roddis, all of Lewistown, Mrs. Mary Johnson and Mrs. Leota Kovachevich, both of Ellisville, Mrs. Velma McGinnis of Dunfermline, Mrs. Hilda Shaw of Trivoli and Mrs. Joanne Markley of Canton; and two grandchildren.
He was supervisor of Liverpool Township 12 years; a member of Lewistown Masonic Lodge; the Shrine; and the Peoria Consistory.
Masonic services were conducted by Lewistown Masonic Lodge Sunday evening at 8 p.m. at Henry Memorial Home. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Home with Rev. Gerald Sidley officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
