Adah P. Nardin Of Macomb Dies

Mrs. Adah Pauline Nardin, 81, of Macomb, died at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1985, at the Macomb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She had been in ill health for several years.

She was born Aug. 6, 1904, in Summum, a daughter of Ceres and Emma Bell Myers Klinedinst. She married Howard Nardin on May 3, 1953, in Macomb. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1958.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Elmer (Daisy) Strode of Macomb, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one infant; one brother, George Klinedinst; and five sisters, Nellie McDonald, Sadie Dunbar, Minnie Chadwick Barrow, Hildred Boole and Marie Baum.

She lived in the Summum and Astoria area until 1950 when she moved to Macomb. She served as hostess at the Hotel Lamoine and also worked at Oscar’s Drug Store for a few years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and First Christian Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Clugston Chapel in Macomb with Rev. Edward Hoffman officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Relatives from Astoria attending the services were Mrs. George Klinedinst, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Klinedinst and Mr. and Mrs. Ronal Wickert.
