He was born Nov. 28, 1958, in Peoria, a son of Edward and Mary Ann Barrow McClain. He married Cindy Batterton. She survives.
Also surviving are three children, Joy Behm of Peoria, Joe Waldrop of Goofy Ridge and Michelle Behm of Creve Coeur; two stepchildren, April Stoneking of Astoria and Gina Gregory of Beardstown; three sisters, Shelly Mustread and Rhonda McClain, both of Cuba, and Cherry Loveland of Bernadotte; grandchildren, Jade McClain, Ocean McClain and other grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Logan McClain Jr.; one brother, Ebert McClain; and one sister, Sharon Bill.
He was a carpenter and worked in construction.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
