She was born March 28, 1947, in Macomb, a daughter of Clifton and Fern Friday Lambert. She married the late Norman Lyle Morrell on July 10, 1983, in Vero Beach, Fla.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Fitzjarrald (and Rebecca) of Rushville and Shawn Fitzjarrald (and Tonya) of Camden; two sisters, Dianna Lambert of Augusta and Donna Steinhour of Burlington, Iowa; two grandsons, Jake Fitzjarrald and Kyle Fitzjarrald; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Fitzjarrald.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Austin Fitzjarrald and Dylan Fitzjarrald; and one brother, Donald Ray Lambert.
She graduated from Augusta High School in 1965. She lived in Vero Beach, Fla., for many years returning to Illinois in 2002.
She worked at Hancock County Shelter Home in Augusta until they closed. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Augusta.
Cremation has been accorded.
