Cecil McFadden Dies In California

Cecil McFadden, 83, of Stockton, Calif., died Sept. 27, 1985, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton.

He was born near Table Grove on April 18, 1902, a son of Martin and Viola (Corbitt) McFadden. On April 25, 1923, he married Mabel Weaver. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Twila McFadden of Stockton; one son, Cecil J. McFadden in Miami, Fla.; three grandchildren; and one brother, Raymond McFadden of Casa Grande, Ariz.

He was a retired California State Fire Marshall and Secretary Emeritus of Masonic Channel Lodge #757.

He was a resident of Table Grove and Vermont until 1945.

Funeral services were held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel in Stockton on Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. with Channel Lodge #757, A.F.&A.M. officiating. Committal was at Cherokee Mausoleum.
