Mrs. Sadie McClelland Dies At Home Of Son

Mrs. Sadie Louise McClelland, lifetime Astoria vicinity resident, died Friday in the home of a son, Milford McClelland, in Vermont, with whom she had made her home the past seven months.

Born in Woodland township, Aug. 28, 1872, a daughter of John Marion and Lavina (Horton) Robertson, she was married to Edward McClelland, who died Feb. 26, 1937.

Surviving are three sons, Milford McClelland of Vermont, Robert McClelland, Astoria, Guy McClelland of Red Lodge, Mont.; several grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Hitchcock, of Red Lodge, Mont.

She was a member of the Christian church.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock in the Horton Funeral Home, conducted by the Revs. Wayne Armstrong and Dale Ferris. Burial in Astoria cemetery.
