John P. Lovell, 56, of Rushville died June 28, 2025, at his home.
He was born March 7, 1969, in Canton, a son of Carl and Mary Jane Busby Lovell. He married Abbey Jean Hopkins on April 1, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.
Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Tara Crow and Nicole Crow; two step grandchildren, Oliva Callihan and Oliver Love; one sister, Carla Eddington; and one uncle, Melvin Busby.
He started working for Excel now JBS in 1989 and worked for 36 years.
Cremation has been accorded. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
