He was born Nov. 16, 1953, in Canton, the son of Lloyd E. Leezer Sr. and Maxine E. Cox Leezer.
Surviving are his mother, his life partner of 40 years, Michael Crane, one sister, Marla Jo Hedden and nephews and nieces, Doug (and Patty) Bergstralh, Mike (and Sandy) Bergstralh, Jeff (and Heather) Bergstralh, Tom (and Calista) Hedden, Kandi (and Jason) Maggio and Becky (and Darren) Sherwood.
He was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Martha Bergstralh.
He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years of service. He loved singing karaoke and was active in various chorale groups including, Peoria Civic Chorale, Peoria Players Madrigals, Morton Civic Chorus and the ICC Phil Harmonic Chorale.
A funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 7, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Burial was at the Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
