She was born Dec. 15, 1943, in Kilbourne, a daughter of Sylvester “Dutch” and Delores Holmes Dye. She married Kenneth Lascelles on Aug. 31, 1961, in Havana. He survives.
Also surviving are two children, Bob (and Ann) Lascelles and John (and Kris) Lascelles, both of Ipava; one sister, Marla (and Vernon) Lascelles of Havana; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Lee; and three brothers, Dennis Dye, Ricky Dye and Tony Dye.
She was a member of Havana Central Christian Church. She worked as a custodian for 10 years for VIT School District.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Jim Lascelles officiating. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
Memorials may be made in Peggy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
