Edsel C. Lawver Dies At Age 42Edsel C. Lawver Dies At Age 42T/Sgt Edsel C. Lawver, 42, of 122 Rice Drive, Mather AFB, Sacramento, Calif., died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 1975, in California.
He was the son of Elzie and Viola Lawver, who preceded him in death. He was married to Betty Trone who also preceded him in death in 1945. He later married Anna Jean Lawver, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Eddie Lawver of Industry; one daughter, Marsha Cowon of Galesburg; one granddaughter, Kathy Jo; two sisters, Barbara Stambaugh and Joyce Froman of Metamora; and two brothers, Milton of Astoria and Elmer of Peoria.
Mr. Lawver had served 18 years in the United States Air Force and 3 years in the United States Army.
Funeral services were held on May 13 at Kessler AFB chapel with interment in the Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Biloxi, Miss.
