VeteranPhillip Kinne Dies At Age 82

Phillip Edwin Kinne, 82, of Vermont, died at 1:05 p.m. Friday, May 24, 1985, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.

He was born Aug. 18, 1902, in Table Grove, the son of James and Victoria Bard Kinne.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Weisbecker of Ardmore, Okla., Mrs. Frances Derry, Mrs. Ruth Cuson and Mrs. Bertha Gaugh, all of Vermont; and three brothers, Aaron Kinne of Bushnell, W. T. Kinne of Vermont and William Kinne of Rockford.

A sister died earlier.

A veteran of World War II, he was retired from the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Tom Wilber officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery near Table Grove.
