Harris Rush Keating, 71, of South Pasadena, Fla., formerly of Table Grove, died at his home at 7:45 a.m. Friday, April 19, 1985.
He was born Feb. 2, 1914, in Boise, Idaho, a son of Rush and Ada Harris Keating. He married Florence Chenoweth in Oregon, Ill. on July 23, 1936. She died Sept. 20, 1974. He later married Hildreth McGrew at Macomb on July 18, 1976. She survives.
He is also survived by one son, Arrel Keating of Treasure Island, Fla.
He was preceded in death by one infant sister.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Presbyterian Church, a past exalted ruler of the Macomb Elks Lodge 1009 and member of the board of the Elks Lodge.
He was a past master of the AF&AM 939, and served several years on the Table Grove Village Board. He was a graduate of Western Illinois University.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Table Grove Community Church with Rev. Tom Wilber officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery near Table Grove.
