VeteranFred Kelly, Schuyler County Farmer, Dies

Fred H. Kelly, 70, of Browning died Sunday at his home in Browning. Death was believed due to a heart attack. Mr. Kelly was a prominent Schuyler County farmer.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.

He was born April 6, 1895, at Littleton, the son of John H. and Lydia A. Hodges Kelly. He was married Dec. 17, 1927 at Virginia, Ill., to Beulah Danner. He was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the Browning Methodist Church and Astoria Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are the widow; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Stambaugh, and Mrs. Naomi Stambaugh, both of Browning. Three nephews also survive.
