Joann “JJ” Jacobus, 88, of Canton died at 2:51 p.m. June 23, 2024, at Sunset Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Canton.
She was born April 20, 1936, in Canton, a daughter of Doyle and Melba Miller Jacobus.
Surviving are one brother, Larry (and Penny) Jacobus of Ipava; one sister, Karen Gage of Ottawa; special nephew, Tim (and Becky) Osborne; and several nieces.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service was held Tuesday at Shields Chapel Cemetery in Canton. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
